Mark Avery is the Vice President of HR Strategy Practice at Core Group Resources and is a trailblazer in transformative HR solutions for small to medium-sized businesses. With 25 years of domestic and international HR experience he seamlessly aligns people strategies with bold business ambitions. Mark has a proven track record of developing scalable compensation, benefits, and incentive programs. He also spearheads our flexible Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services. Mark has led impactful HR initiatives across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.

Before joining Core Group Resources, Mark served as the Global HR Director for Lake Resources, where he designed and implemented HR programs and operations in the US, Argentina, and Australia, driving the company’s organizational culture and growth. His experience also includes HR leadership roles in the Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Manufacturing, and Maritime Industries where he led complex international HR operations, global talent mobility programs, and executed organizational restructures that spanned the North America, Egypt, and the UK. Mark’s global perspective and experience across diverse markets enable him to design and implement cutting-edge scalable HR systems aligned with organizational goals regardless of business size and industry.
